Terms of Service
Last Updated: October 17, 2026
Welcome to Curriculum.media. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Curriculum.media website and the Bible studies and materials offered on it (together, the “Service”). “Curriculum.media,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Curriculum.media. “You” means the person using the Service.
1. Agreement to These Terms
By checking the box and selecting “Continue” when you first visit, or by otherwise accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You may browse the Service at any age. To make a purchase, you must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission and involvement of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
3. The Service
Curriculum.media offers interactive Bible studies that you can read, answer questions in, save, and print, along with related study materials. Songs of the Shabbat Sacrifice is an advanced pastoral study of prayer and is not an interactive study; its Pastoral Facilitator Guide is sold separately.
The Service is devotional and educational. It is not a substitute for professional medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice, and it is not a church, counseling practice, or healthcare provider. We do not guarantee any particular spiritual, emotional, physical, or personal outcome from using the Service.
4. Purchases and Payment
Some studies are sold for a fee. The price of each study is shown at checkout before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor, and are subject to Stripe’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive or store your full card number.
By completing a purchase, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide. Prices may change at any time, but a change will not affect an order you have already paid for. Any applicable taxes will be shown at checkout.
5. Pastoral Curriculum
Songs of the Shabbat Sacrifice and its Pastoral Facilitator Guide are Pastoral Curriculum Only. They are available for purchase only by pastors, and each purchaser must send us a copy of their ministerial license before the materials are provided.
We may review the license you submit and may decline or cancel an order for pastoral curriculum if we cannot verify eligibility. If we decline or cancel an order for this reason, we will refund the amount you paid for it. By submitting a license, you confirm that it is genuine and that it belongs to you.
6. Refunds
Because the studies are digital and available immediately, purchases are generally not refundable, except as described in Section 5 or where refunds are required by law. If something has gone wrong with an order, please reach us through our contact form and we will do our best to make it right.
7. Your License to Use the Materials
When you purchase a study, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use it for your own study, and to use it in leading study within your own household, small group, church, or ministry. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Curriculum.media.
You may not sell, resell, sublicense, rent, publicly post, or otherwise distribute the studies or any part of them, or share your purchased access or files with people outside the use described above, without our prior written permission.
8. Your Saved Work
Answers you type into a study are saved in your own browser, on your own device. They are not sent to us, and we cannot see, back up, or recover them. Clearing your browsing data, using a private window, or switching devices or browsers may erase them or leave them behind. We recommend printing any work you want to keep.
9. Intellectual Property
The studies, text, design, logo, and other content of the Service are owned by Curriculum.media or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Scripture quotations marked KJV are from the King James Version, which is in the public domain in the United States.
10. Acceptable Use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or related systems;
- copy, resell, or redistribute the studies except as allowed in Section 7;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
- use automated means, such as bots or scrapers, to access the Service without our prior written consent;
- misrepresent your identity, including by submitting a license that is not your own; or
- send us content that is abusive, harassing, hateful, or that violates the rights of others.
11. Third-Party Services and Links
The Service uses third-party providers, including Stripe for payments, Tally for our contact form, and, if you consent, Google Analytics to understand how the Service is used. The Service may also link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party websites or services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any particular outcome will result from your use of the Service.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Curriculum.media and its owners, team members, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00).
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
15. Binding Arbitration Agreement
15.1 Agreement to Arbitrate
You and Curriculum.media agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Service, any purchase, or your relationship with Curriculum.media (whether based in contract, tort, statute, fraud, misrepresentation, or any other legal theory, and whether arising before or after you agreed to these Terms) shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding arbitration rather than in court. There is no right to opt out of this arbitration agreement.
15.2 Rules and Administration
The arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect, to the extent those rules are consistent with this Section. The AAA’s rules are available at www.adr.org. The arbitration will be conducted by a single, neutral arbitrator, who shall have exclusive authority to resolve any dispute about the interpretation, applicability, enforceability, or formation of this arbitration agreement.
15.3 Location and Procedure
Unless you and Curriculum.media agree otherwise, the arbitration will take place in the county in Texas where Curriculum.media is based or, at your election, by telephone or videoconference. If your claim is for $10,000 or less, you may choose whether the arbitration is conducted solely on written submissions, by telephone or video hearing, or by an in-person hearing as provided in the AAA rules.
15.4 Class Action and Jury Trial Waiver
You and Curriculum.media agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person’s claims or preside over any form of representative or class proceeding unless both parties agree in writing. You and Curriculum.media also waive any right to a jury trial to the fullest extent permitted by law.
15.5 Costs
Filing, administration, and arbitrator fees are governed by the AAA’s Consumer Arbitration Rules. Where consistent with those rules, Curriculum.media will pay costs and fees to the extent required to make this arbitration agreement enforceable. Each party bears its own attorneys’ fees unless the arbitrator finds a claim was frivolous, in which case fees may be awarded as applicable law allows.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page, and the “Last Updated” date above will be revised. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
